《钱德明:18世纪中法间的文化使者》旨在对18世纪来华耶稣会士代表人物钱德明（Joseph-Marie Amiot, 1718-1793）进行综合性研究，在接受研究框架内突出语境研究、翻译研究和形象研究，重点梳理钱德明的著作、翻译以及他在与西方学者交流活动中的互动角色，进而在中西文化交流中对其定位。本研究以钱德明的复杂文化身份为中心，通过考察他对耶稣会传统的继承，自我身份在与他者接触过程中的变化，以及他多样性的文化身份对著译作品的影响，从而廓清他塑造的中国形象的内在意义。(Joseph-Marie Amiot: Cultural Messenger between China and France in the 18th Century aims to conduct a comprehensive study of Joseph-Marie Amiot (1718-1793), the representative of the Jesuits to China in the 18th century, highlight contextual research, translation studies and image studies under the framework for study, and focus on sorting through his works, his translation and his interactive role in the exchange activities with western scholars, and then define the positioning of his role in the cultural exchanges between China and the West.Centering on the complex cultural identity of Joseph-Marie Amiot, this study examines his inheritance of the tradition of the Jesuits, the change of self-identity in the process of contact with others, and the influence of his diversified cultural identity on the translated works, clarifying the intrinsic meaning of the image of China he created.)
