丛书的撰写，参阅了前辈的革命回忆录、人物传记、宁夏地方文献史料和大量报刊的研究文章，因受编写体例所限，文中未能一一注出，只在书后以参考文献的形式出现。
农家书屋，是一项文化建设工程。在形式上，它是"传承中华文化、转变农民观念、培养新型农民的最基础最有效的平台"，体现的是"小平台大阵地，小图书大文化"的作用。正是从这个意义上，作为丛书策划者，我希望这套丛书不但能够弥补宁夏历史文化研究——红色文化领域的不足，而且能为宁夏经济文化社会发展、乡村文明与和谐社会的推进、文化建设与红色旅游文化的提升，尤其是精神文化的提升发挥重要的引领和推动作用，以其独具的时代意义和实用价值面向更为广泛的读者。(The book is composed with reference to the memoirs and biographies of revolutionary predecessors, local documentary resources of Ningxia and massive research articles, which cannot be fully specified due to the limited compilation style.
