宁夏是中国五个少数民族自治区之一，是祖国西部一方物华天宝的热土。这里包含了类型多样的地势地貌,有连绵起伏的山地，万壑的黄土高原，有浩瀚无垠的沙漠，有一望无际的平原，有波涛滚滚的大河，又有烟波浩渺的湖泊，但是长期以来，这种美丽如画的自然景观却深藏闺中,外界鲜为人知。( Ningxia is one of the 5 autonomous regions in China and a blessed land in the west.It boasts diverse terrains and topographies such as undulating mountains, high loess plateau, vast desert, expansive grassland, roaring river and misty lake. But for a long time the picturesque landscape remains unknown by the outside world.)
