港的喃嘸先生屬於正一派的道士傳統，他們設立道館，為公眾提供紅白二事的科儀服務，收取服務費用。香港的正一傳統基本是香港與廣東相鄰地區的正一道士傳統的一部分。在悠長的歷史過程中，香港發展出新界及市區兩種正一科儀傳統。新界的正一科儀比較集中在人生儀禮及社區性的清醮儀式。而早期的市區科儀則主要為漁民群體服務。但在漁民人口大幅減少後，市區的正一道士便主要為殯儀館的喪禮提供超幽儀式服務。
