《从高原湖走向世界海》是一部关于郑和故里南华县的文集，共收录了县内外四十几位名家、作者、专家、学者反映郑和与南华的文章50余篇。主要分上部的历史考释和下部的文学评述。内容多以历史随笔、个人见解角度写文，添加了一些自己的合理想象或解读，有的是小说，如段爱松的《远航》，有的是散文、诗歌。(The book is a collection of over 50 articles related to Nanhua County, hometown of Zhenghe, from over 40 famous writers, authors, experts and scholars of the county.It is composed of two parts – historical investigations and literary review,including informal essays, personal views, imaginations or interpretations, novels (e.g. Voyage, Duan Aisong), prose and poems.)
